Alumni Xpress: Vasileios Prassas, Class of 2010
22nd February 2021

From American Farm School student to Morgan Stanley analyst, Vasileios Prassas is considered one of the most successful alumni.

He graduated from the AFS General High School in 2010 and has been working at Morgan Stanley in New York for almost a decade. He currently holds a position in the department of investments, focusing on companies with strong business models and competitive advantages that benefit from new technologies.

Vasileios is grateful to the School for helping him get a full scholarship to study in the United States. “Something that has literally changed my life forever and for the better. I still think about it - 11 years later - and I shiver” he shares. He often reminisces about his student years and misses the residence halls. “I am proud of my school. It is a magical place in every sense of the word. AFS provides experiences and opportunities to all of its students, but especially to those that need them the most. I am indebted to this beautiful school” Vasileios says.

His ambition is to grow as a person and as a professional, to deepen his personal relationships, broadens his horizons and continue to feel excited about seizing each and every day.
