American Farm School is moving to a strategic partnership with the well-known northern Greece deli meats company PASSIAS. The launch of two new products, boiled and smoked turkey Passias, has already started under the School’s quality seal. The agreement was signed on Thursday, June 28, 2018, by the President of the School Dr. Panos Kanellis and the President and Managing Director of Passias, Mr. Giorgos Passias.
The American Farm School administration participates in the selection, training and supervision of turkey farmers by setting specific standards, from the beginning of their rearing to the delivery of their meat to Passias. They also ensure the implementation of quality assurance systems and the identification of products at every stage of production through specific laboratory tests.
"The School is well-known throughout Greece for the quality of its products. We will assist with all our efforts in maintaining the high level of Passias products. In addition, we will help our students, who will be able to gain further practical experience in the industry’s facilities," said the President of the School, Dr. Panos Kanellis, as reminder that the aim of the non-profit institution is to educate young people in the agri-food sector by using good practices.
