Position scope
Reporting to the President of the Institution, the Executive Administrative Assistant will manage the Office of the President and provide administrative assistance to the Chief Operations Officer.
Duties and responsibilities:
Provides general administrative assistant duties, including the handling of correspondence, answering telephone calls, preparing documents, maintaining documents’ archive;
Coordinates internal and external meetings and appointments, prepares agendas, books and sets up meeting rooms, takes minutes, when necessary;
Serves as point of contact and liaison between the President and the Directors and Members of the Board of Trustees;
Prepares or coordinates the preparation of various reports and presentations; and
Coordinates events and meetings organized by the Office of the President.
Required qualifications and skills:
Certification in secretarial / administration studies or related field
At least 3 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in an educational environment
Excellent oral and written communication skills in Greek and English (Native speakers of both language will be preferred)
Proficiency in the use of the Microsoft Office suite, Google web applications and design tools such as canva. Readiness to experiment with / or use AI powered productivity tools
Ability to record and transcribe minutes of meetings
Ability to maintain the confidentiality of all transactions and communications
Ability to respond verbally or in writing to all constituents in a polite, sensate and competent manner
Ability to understand and prioritize by assessing situations to determine urgency
Ability to keep track of and meet deadlines
Required personal characteristics:

Excellent interpersonal and public relations skills
Strong work ethic, professional integrity and a collaborative work style

Each semester-long course requires 3-4 contact hours and 1 office hour per week, in addition to the timely submission of course related administration in conjunction with the Perrotis College Registrar. On appointment, adjunct lecturers will also be encouraged to participate in Perrotis College sponsored research and to supervise student research projects both in the BSc and Msc programs.
Required Qualifications and Experience
Ph.D. degree within the related disciplines and with expertise in the associated courses outlined above
Proficiency level of spoken and written English (teaching will take place in English)
University level teaching experience
Preferred Qualifications and Experience
Ability to work independently and in a team
Ability to communicate effectively in English
Ability to design and lead research projects connected to the lecturer’s subject area
Documented industrial experience
Strong motivation and willingness to contribute to the department needs
Studies or work experience in the USA
Familiarity with the US or UK educational systems
