Faculty Openings at Perrotis College – B.Sc. Programs

Perrotis College invites applicants for a part-time faculty position in the Digital Marketing & Management program during the 2022-2023 academic year.

Position Description and Responsibilities:

Adjunct Lecturer

The successful applicant will serve as part-time lecturer during the fall 2022 and/or spring 2023. He/she will teach one course per semester requiring 3-4 contact hours and 1 office hour per week and will be encouraged to participate in Perrotis College sponsored research and supervise student research projects.

Successful applicants must have a background documenting his/her ability to teach one or more of the following courses:

Law and the World of Business
Digital Consumer Behaviour
Creative Digital Marketing Communications
Digital Analytics
Digital Marketing in Practice
Marketing Research Methods
Search Marketing: Content, SEO + PPC

Required Qualifications and Experience

Post graduate studies in the field of expertise
Proficiency level of spoken and written English (teaching will take place in English)
Teaching experience at a university level

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

Ability to work independently and in a team
Ability to communicate effectively in English
Ability to design and lead research projects connected to his/her subject area
Documented industrial experience
Strong motivation and willingness to contribute to the department needs
Studies or work experience in the USA
Familiarity with the US or UK educational systems

Hiring opportunities for Perrotis College faculty

Perrotis College of Agriculture, Environment and Life Sciences, the higher education branch of the American Farm School (AFS), a not-for-profit US institution with its campus at AFS in Thessaloniki, Greece, is seeking applications for hiring part-time faculty for in-person classroom/online teaching.

Perrotis College offers B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in the fields of Sustainable Agriculture and Management, Business Studies, Food Science & Technology and Environmental Science. The approach of the College is strongly interdisciplinary, while its pedagogical methodology is both research oriented and practical, giving students the opportunity to engage in learning-by-doing projects.

The College seeks qualified applicants in the above fields. A detailed list of courses offered can be found on the College’s web site. It is possible for a number of applicants to be chosen based on Perrotis College needs and according to its hiring and selection process.The selected persons will serve as part time lecturers. Interested applicants are encouraged to apply throughout the year and the applications will be maintained on the College’s registry for twelve months.
