Q. What are the exact dates of Greek Summer?
A. The exact dates of Greek Summer vary from year to year. The trip runs from the end of June through the end of July or early August. The dates for Greek Summer 2019 are June 28th to July 28th.  Dates and deadlines are subject to change. There is a rolling admissions process so applying early is recommended.  Students ages 15-17 are eligible.
Q. What are the age requirements for Greek Summer?
A. Greek Summer is limited to high school students who have completed grades 9, 10, 11 or 12 and are between the ages of 15 and 17 years old. Students who have recently completed grade 9 must have had their 15th birthday by June 20th. 

Q. Can people from outside the United States attend the program?
A. Yes.

Q. Do I need to speak Greek to participate in the program?
A. No, you do not need to speak Greek. Most of the students on the program have little or no experience with the Greek language.

Q. Is there anybody in my area with whom I could speak about the program?
A. Greek Summer has nearly 2,000 alumni across the United States, and many are eager to speak about their experiences. Contact us at to find Greek Summer alumni in your area.
