The participants of the “Alternative Tourism” program visited alternative tourist facilities in Ossa, Thessaloniki and Metsovo. The program is conducted under the "New Agriculture for a New Generation" program funded by the Stavros Niarchos Foundation.
More specifically, they visited the Metsovo Farm where the wonderful and rare donkey milk and many other products such as cosmetics and noodles, barley, etc. are produced They had the opportunity to cook local recipes with farm products in a traditional way.
In Ossa, Thessaloniki, they enjoyed a tour of the village and shops operated by the Ossetian Association, including the Folklore Collection, the Old Tsagaradiko and the Old Grocery, where they tasted local cherries of high quality and nutritional value produced in the village.
