The dense snowfall on Friday, January 4, named "Sofia," turned AFS into a fairy-tale landscape. A white veil covered every inch of the campus creating idyllic images from another era.
The towering cypress trees, the pine trees, the olive trees, the farm, the schools and the other buildings were covered with snow. The joy of young and old was obvious; as such a snowfall is not common.
