It's too cold to do anything! Let's hibernate!
18th January 2017

Animals who live in the Arctic love the cold. But some forest animals hate it. So, what do they do? They HIBERNATE. Uh? What's that? They sleep ... and sleep ... and sleep ... all through the winter. But that's not as easy as it sounds. It takes lot of preparation.

Let's choose some animals and help them get ready for hibernation.

Bats.

Snakes.

Bees.

First, we need to gather food for them.

Our basket is full! Good!

Next, we need to choose where to hibernate. It must be warm, cosy and safe from predators. Bats go to caves.

Snakes go underground.

And bees fly up to their beehives.

Then, they all go to sleep. Sweet dreams! See you in the sping!!!
