As part of the Gen-Sheep Milk project, the first round of sheep milk sampling was carried out with the aim of producing better quality and higher yield sheep milk and, by extension, dairy products. The samplings were carried out by the HUB team of the American Agricultural School in the area of Pella and Nea Apollonia, Thessaloniki, with monthly milk collection in order to monitor the quality of the milk throughout the dairy season. Subsequently, after the analysis of the samples by the partners of the project, data and information were produced for the improvement of the milk of each producer and corresponding improvement interventions where they will lead to the improvement of the existing state of the product and by extension of the farms. Here are the next samplings aimed at the trial production of cheese products in order to see the difference in quality after the interventions of the operational team.
