On Wednesday, November 1, 2023, Project IDEAS hosted a successful event on "Empowering Young Entrepreneurs in the Agri-Food Sector with the help of digital transformation".
The objective of the event was to present updates and results of Project IDEAS, as well as to create a platform for sharing knowledge and experiences among participants. The event was also an opportunity to promote entrepreneurship and digital transformation in the Agri-Food Sector.
Speakers at the event included:

Kostas Gioutikas, Deputy Regional Governor for Development and Environment of Central Macedonia, who presented the current state of digital transformation in the Agri-Food Sector businesses in the region.

Ioannis Amarantidis, Senior Project Manager of EDIH-Digiagrifood, who presented the goal of #DigiAgriFood, the first European Digital Innovation Hub in the Greek agri-food sector.

Anna Triantafyllou from the University of Western Macedonia, who shared the pilot of the #horizon #terminet project, which focuses on smart agriculture, end-user-centric devices and applications.

Panos Remundos, Political Scientist (Design & Implementation of co-financed projects from European resources), who highlighted the importance of branding in the Agri-Food industry.
The event was a rich source of inspiration and collaboration, promoting innovation and sustainability in the Agri-Food Sector. We look forward to further developments and suggestions from the Project IDEAS community.
