Reduce - Reuse - Recycle
5th May 2017

Recycling is one of those and definitely in the top three things we can do to protect the Earth. This is why recycling is part of the program for experiential learning in Grade 1 and its results are starting to show in our students' everyday habits and all around our school grounds.

For starters, we decided to lift up our sleeves and get to work, because outside the Elementary school there is plastic, paper and other waste just lying around, littering our beautiful campus grounds.

The kids were really excited and did a fantastic job! We put the trash we found in two seperate bags, one for recyclable and one for non-recyclable trash. You wouldn't believe the things people just throw on the ground ... or would you? Our clean up operation was a hit and for days after I keep seeing our little students picking up any piece of litter they find and  running to the appropriate bin for it!
