The Horticulture department is a multi-fold operation, responsible for both production and training in these major areas: 1) greenhouse and nursery management; 2) vineyard and winery management; 3) olive tree cultivation; and 4) field crops, including experimental ones, located on the campus farm and on the satellite Zannas Farm to the west of Thessaloniki near the Axios River.
