Our Skin and Muscles (STEM Academy)
7th March 2017

What helps us move and exercise? Is there really a mouse inside our arm? The Energy Heroes saw how muscles work and cover almost our entire body. Miss Athina, our sports teacher, was waiting for us to show us what a real workout is. Different work-out stations for our different muscle groups put our minds to the test. Which muscle to we use for each movement? Tricky to answer, but lots of fun.

After lots of exercise we went back to our lab to ask ourselves a question. What's the largest organ of our body? Not the heart, not the liver, not even our brain. It's our skin! We used gloves and pepper to see how our skin protects us from harm and looked our fingertips up close to see all those differences among them!
