Can our eyes trick us? The Energy Heroes stepped into a magical world: The world of sight and optical illusions. We worked together and tested how strong our vision is when one of our eyes is closed. Suddenly, we saw a circle with pink dots on the smartboard. When were looking at the center the dots would disappear. When we were looking at the dots, they would change color. How is this possible? The children found out that our brain can sometimes be deceived. That’s why we decided to make our very own illusion toys using paper and barbeque sticks. Easy, peasy lemon squeezy…
After that, we saw how mirrors can affect our perception of space and started creating colorful kaleidoscopes out of paper rolls. What a colorful blast!
