Institute of Vocational Training at the American Farm School
26th June 2018

The new Institute of Vocational Training (IEK) of the American Farm School offering studies in the agri-food sector opens its doors in October 2018.

The goal of this new educational structure is to offer students the opportunity to learn, understand and apply innovative and good practices for the optimization of agricultural production, while developing environmental consciousness.

Application of modern and innovative experiential learning methods in the School’s state-of-the-art laboratory facilities and farm production units will lead to the acquisition of theoretical and technical skills necessary for a fruitful professional activity in the field.

The four-semester program is certified by the Ministry of Education according to the National Qualifications Framework. IEK graduates may continue their studies at Perrotis College, in the second year of the undergraduate program of their choice (Agro-Enviromental Systems Management, International Entrepreneurship or Food Science & Technology).
